The Parrot and Bird Emporium is located in the Gristmill Plaza, on the corner of Route 57 and Route 202 at 610 College highway in Southwick, MA. We are 15 minutes from Sprinfield and we are open 6 days a week with ample parking. We offer the full range of products needed to care for and engage your companion parrot. Besides teaching owners how to handle their birds, The Parrot and Bird Emporium also boards and sells numerous types of birds, including toucanets, cockatiels, macaws and African Greys. All birds are certified vet checked, gram stained and cultured.
About Janet
Janet Berube, owner and founder of The Parrot Emporium, has had her doors open since mid-May 2010. Animals have always been Janet's first love, and each bird that comes through the doors is guaranteed personalized care tailored to suit it'd individual needs. She has been working with parrots for over 27 years, and has trained hundreds of parrots and thier care takers. Janet is AFA certified, and has consulted organizations such as the Lupa zoo. Her energetic and active approach to training engages both parrot and owner, making training a fun, enjoyable activity that both can bond over and get excited about! Using a mixture of lessons from up to date books and magazines and hands on experience, Janet is ready to share her passion and skill for training parrots in her Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced clicker training courses!
